When it comes to fitness, so many people overcomplicate their lifestyle with what supplements they should buy, and because of a lack of knowledge, they end up buying so much unnecessary stuff.

Everybody should know that all supplement companies play with your emotions and try to sell as many products as possible by showing you unnecessary benefits.

So in this blog, I will explain to you which supplements you actually need to purchase.

Before we start make sure to stay till the end so that you do not miss out on anything. Now let’s start.

Protein powder

For muscle-building, protein is a key ingredient. Does that mean you can’t build muscle without protein? Hell yes. But as protein is what helps build muscle, it is kind of necessary to have the right amount of protein for fast results.

Do you need to purchase protein powder? I will say no. If you can get enough protein from chicken, soy, and other sources, you don't need protein powder. But if you have a small calorie budget and because of that cannot reach your daily protein goal, then protein powder will be a low-calorie, high-protein source.

Vegetarians and those on a caloric deficit may require protein powder to meet their daily protein requirements.

Multi-vitamins

In our everyday lives, if you are fit, you most probably take care of macronutrients like protein, fat, carbohydrates, etc., but I am sure you don’t take care of micronutrients, which are equally essential for your overall health.

As you all know, fitness is not only about how you look from the outside, so to take care of your inner health, you do need to take care of the micronutrients in your body.

Omega-3 fish oil

Like micronutrients, this supplement is also necessary for your health. So why should you need these? here is why,

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Reduce triglycerides
  • Slow the development of plaque in the arteries
  • Reduce the chance of abnormal heart rhythm
  • Reduce the likelihood of heart attack and stroke
  • Lessen the chance of sudden cardiac death in people with heart disease

So it's primarily for heart health, that's all.

BONUS

Creatine is also extremely beneficial for strength gains, and no, it does not cause hair loss. Hair loss absolutely depends on your genetics; creatine has nothing to do with that.

It does not magically make your muscles huge in size; because of creatine supplementation, you hold more water, which is why you feel more buff. It mainly helps increase your strength by creating more ATP in your body.

In the end, it's always all about your dedication. There are so many lifters out there who build a huge amount of muscle without any of these, so if you cannot afford any of these, then don’t worry. Just keep going, and you will get your result.

Thank you for your time.
